Sects
Sunni: Majority of Islam's followers, follow worshiping one God, but that the Prophet did not declare a successor.
Sh'ia: Second largest branch, follow worshipping one God, believe that Prophet appointed a successor.
Sufism: Mystical Islam branch, focuses on seeking to find truth of love and knowledge through a direct relationship with God.
