        Producer:
        
        An organism that makes its own organic nutrients, generally using energy from sunlight, thorough photosynthesis
        
        Examples: Trees, grass, algae
        
        Consumer
        
        An organism that gets its energy by feeding on other organisms
        
        Examples: Tiger, lion, deer, rabit
        
        Decomposer
        
        An organisms¿ that gets it energy from dead or waste organic material
        
        Examples: Fungi, bacteria
    - - Herbivores
        
        An animal that gets its
        energy by eating plants
      - Carnivores
        
        An animal that gets its
        energy by eating other animals
  - - - the position of an organism in a food chain, food web or pyramid of biomass or numbers
    - - 1st: Producers (plants)
      - 2nd: Primary consumers (Herbivores)
      - 3rd: Secondary consumers (Animals that eat herbivores)
      - 4th: Tertiary consumers (Animals that eat secondary consumers)
      - 5th: Quaternary consumers (Animals in the top of the food chain)

        They are better than pyramids of numbers because they take the size of each organism into account
    - - We can see at the bottom is smaller because one tree can provide food for lots of ladybugs
