A third of the snakes width and height (if the snake was 150 cm long the then the enclosure would have to be 150cm X 50cm X 50cm)

One side needs a heat lamp (basking zone) should be 28 - 30 (on the stone under the lamp) degrees and the other should have nothing or fog/mist
2 electric/automatic thermometers on each end and an infrared thermometer daily to double - check the temperature
Turn off heat lamps at night and if the temperature drops under 16 - 20 degrees at night install a non-light heater (heat mat) for night time

Hygrometer (measures humidity levels) 40 - 50% - if its too high you need more ventilation (you get humidity from mist)

UVB Lamp (gives reptiles UV sunlight)

Water in the cool end of the enclosure and should be big for snake to bath in it and be replaced daily

Needs 3 hides - hot, cold and humid
Substrate - the ground (60% dirt, 30% sand, 10% leaves)
