        Causal Connectors (Cause and Effect)
        
        These show why something happens:

        Conditional and Contrast Connectors
        
        Condition: if, unless, provided that, in case
        
        “If it rains, we’ll cancel the trip.”
        
        Contrast: although, though, whereas, while
        
        “Although it was cold, they went swimming.”
