For formula fed infants- offer stepped care approach, review feeding history, reduce volume of feeds if excessive for the child's weight. Offer a 1-2 week trial of smaller /more frequent feeds. Offer 1-2 wee trail thickened formula. Thickener added to usual infant formula. If prescribed , must be endorsed "ACBS".
