- - - - UP QUARKS - It is a type of quark with a positive electric charge of +2/3 of the elementary charge. Up quarks are the lightest of all quarks and are a constituent of protons and neutrons.
      - DOWN QUARKS - It has a charge of -1/3 the elementary charge and, along with up quarks, forms protons and neutrons, the particles that make up atomic nuclei. Specifically, a proton consists of two up quarks and one down quark, while a neutron consists of two down quarks and one up quark.
      - STRANGE QUARKS - It's the third lightest of all quarks and carries an electric charge of -1/3. Strange quarks are found in subatomic particles called hadrons, and they are known for their role in creating "strange particles" with relatively long lifetimes compared to other particles decaying via the strong force.
      - CHARM QUARKS - It's an elementary particle, meaning it's not made up of smaller particles. Charm quarks, along with other quarks, combine to form composite particles called hadrons, such as protons and neutrons.
      - TOP QUARKS - It's a fundamental constituent of matter and interacts with the Higgs field, which is responsible for giving it its mass. The top quark is also known for its instability, decaying into other particles in less than 10^-25 seconds.
      - BOTTOM QUARKS - It is one of the six types of quarks, and it carries a charge of -1/3 elementary charges. Bottom quarks are relatively massive and play a significant role in particle physics, particularly in weak interactions and particle decays.
