A Level NEA 2
Client: Marcus Cotterill, Family friend, visited Cornwall his entire life, has many troubles on the beach
Problem 2: Changing privately and discretely on the beach
Client often finds himself going out somewhere after the beach, but does not have anywhere to change
He would want a discrete product to help him, so he does not stand out on the beach
Also would need a compartment to dry trunks, bikinis and wetsuits so they can be left in his car without creating a smell, or mould
Problem 3: Eating safely on the beach
BBQs on the beach are often non reusable and create lots of waste, can have serious environmental effects across the world
Client finds they have little protection, and can be dangerous
Often do not have stable bases on them and rely on flat sand or a rock to place on
Little foot protection, possibility of ashes falling on feet, as people are dressed less thoroughly on a beach
There is no easy place to put plates, and other food items on a beach
Often sand gets on plates and food, or alternatively food is spilled
Needs a place to have food while eating
Client would want something to allow them store this to prevent waste and making transporting a meal to the beach much easier
Problem 1: Struggle Carrying Bags/ Storing on a beach
Possible trailer/ sledge to carry/ drag bags to and on beach
Wheels that can be disengaged to allow a smooth sledge, wheels allow movement on concrete and sledge allows smooth transport on sand
Retractable and compact so can be easily put in clients boot or roof rack
