A mental state of readiness, organized through experience, which exerts a directive or dynamic influence on an individual’s response to people, objects, or situations.
Components (ABC Model)
Affective: Emotional reactions (e.g., fear of exams).
Behavioral: Action tendencies (e.g., avoiding exams).
Cognitive: Beliefs/thoughts (e.g., exams are unfair).

Classical Conditioning: Associating a neutral stimulus with a positive/negative one (e.g., liking a product after a positive ad).
