Z-Scores
Specification of the precise location of each X value within a distribution. Shows how many standard deviations a score is form the mean
Standardized Distribution: Composition of data that makes different/unalike distributions comparable
Standardized Score: Converted score indicates how far the raw score is above or below the mean of distribution.
Z-Score Transformation: relabeling raw scores from a data set into z-scores locations within a distribution. (X values in population to X value locations within a distribution).
Can compare different scores from different scales. For example, standardized tests.
