what is the world doing about this?
The international community are working with the UN (united nation) to promote human rights across the world. The UN, has established a comprehensive body of human rights law and mechanisms to ensure these rights are respected and protected.
Magna Carta:
this is a historical document signed by King John England in 1215, that states that even the king it not above the law and all free men deserve the rights for justice and s fair trial

the silent seeker are people who move from there home country looking for protection and or assistants due to fear isolation or other factors.
what are human rights?
human rights are basic rights that all humans should have to be treated equably. they are defined on values that are protected by the law.
what are human rights?
all humans are born free. you have rights to healthcare, education, own property, have a family, express yourself, peace and security, fair pay and court and law
what is Discrimination and how can we recognize it?
direct discrimination – less favorable treatment directly because of a protected characteristic. indirect discrimination – when everyone's treated the same but people with a protected characteristic are put at a disadvantage.
Asylum Seeker:
Asylum seekers are protected under international and national human rights law, ensuring they are treated fairly and have access to certain rights while their asylum claim is assessed. They have the right to apply for asylum, be treated without discrimination, and receive assessments of their claims fairly and accurately.
what do the united Nations (UN) do?
The United Nations plays a crucial role in human rights through the development of international standards, scrutiny of violations, and promotion of human rights worldwide. The UN's work includes establishing legal frameworks, providing platforms for dialogue, and monitoring human rights records of member states
inequality in Saudi Arabia
examples: women cant work, women get lower pay, women have to stay at home and raise the children
Authoritarian
complete control, women can not do anything without the permission of either a brother, uncle, father or husband (a male family member) women can also not drive.
gender inequality what:
the unfair situation in society when some people have more opportunity's, money and or are treated differently from the other gender or race
Patriarchal:
a social system where men control a disproportionately large share of social, economic, political and religious power, and inheritance usually passes down the male line

how are women treated differently from men?:
women require male guardian permission to get married, women requite male guardian permission to travel, women requite male permission to study abraum, women require male permission to leave prison, women require permission to be employs.
why are people treated differently?:
income, gender, age, origin (country), ethnicity, race, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy
solutions
in 2011 kin Abdula let women vote, they no longer need male permission to start work, in 2017 woman must be aloud government services like healthcare without there male guardians permission.
