Ontological Argument
Anselm
A priori, not based on experience but reason alone
Deductive, if the premises are true then the conclusion must be true
P1: God is by definition the greatest conceivable being
P2: It is greater to exist in the mind and reality than in the mind alone
P3: God exists in the mind
C1: God exists in reality
Further developed by descartes. Arguing that God and his existence is the same as a triangle having three sides
PROSLOGIONS 3
A necessary being whose nonexistence is impossible is greater than a contingent being whose nonexistence is possible

Kant
Ontology argues that denying God's existence is to deny God's character as the greatest possible being
It treats existence as a predicate, a description of what God is
If is ay a cat exists, i haven't actually described the cat
100 coins in the mind vs irl doesn't actually add to the concept of the coins
The reason for the existence of a contingent thing is dependence on something else, and as such is external and non-defining
SO necessary existence is a thing, whilst contingent existence is not
