Review articles are scientific articles written by experts within the field. It covers up-to-date information on the topic and contains a comprehensive list of references

The first step in using literary sources in your research is to know where to find reliable sources.
There are many data bases that can be used to find good peer-review articles such as Google scholar, high wire, PubMed, MEDLINE, and your local university libraries database.

Know the difference between primary, secondary and tertiary sources.
Primary is the original body of work containing new data, results and theories. These are generally peer-reviewed. Examples: scientific journal articles, theses, and dissertation.
Secondary analyzes and discusses information presented in primary sources. Examples: review articles, literary criticisms, and some textbooks.
Teritiary is a compilation and reorganization of information provided by secondary sources. Examples: textbooks, dictionaries, manuals, wikipedia.
When writing your own review article, select a topic that appeals to you and carries importance. Some topics are easier to write about than others.
