What is Online Communities ?
Virtual space where members interact, share and learn. :check:
Eg: Google Classroom, Edmodo, forums, LMS, social media.
Foster a sense of belonging, support and collective inquiry.
Role of Educators
Create a safe and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable sharing ideas.
Encourage teamwork so students can learn from each other.
Use digital tools such as discussion boards/learning management systems to organise content and stimulate intellectual engagement.
Teach digital responsibility by showing students how to behave politely and respectfully online.
Create a rules/ norms that guide participation and discourse via online.
Roles of Students
Contribute to knowledge building via collaborative interactions such as peer feedback/ forum discussions.
Practice good online behavior such as being respectful and kind when commenting or chatting.
Take on the small leadership roles such as helping to organize a group or lead a discussion.
Develop digital citizenship and communication skills essential for lifelong learning.

Platform to enhance educational collaboration, professional development and resource sharing among educators across Malaysia.
Role 4: Providing Free Online Learning Resources and Build Networks (e-lesson plan, Assessment in GF, Pusat Tuisyen Ayu: collection of exam papers) and Telegram group (share best practices video/application tips for GC/HLP)
Role 2: Facilitating Professional Development (initiated "Jom Get Certified") especially for Google Certified Educators (Level 1 and 2)
Role 3: Facilitating Knowledge Sharing (encourages teachers to upload lesson in YouTube) - YouTuber Malaysia
