i. Sub-tasks
ii. Knowledge
iii. Reference material
iv. Training media
v. Task list standards
vi. Competencies
S6. ABNORMAL & EMER SITUATIONS TRAINING
Goal:
i. CC tasks during operator's emergency and abnormal situation.
ii. Emergency procedures are applied in abnormal and emer situation.
iii. Abnormal mean deviate from normal and may result in emer
iv. For crew: immediate recognized, awareness, communication, anticipate additional risk
Contents:
i. Fire/ fume/ decompression
ii. Anticipated and unanticipated landing/ditching
iii. Evacuation/ Incapacitation/ rapid disembarkation
Hands-on & Simulated Excercises
i. given the opportunity to participate in simulated exercises and practice competencies during training
ii. Joint flight & cabin crew: promote coordination, greater insight, sound appreciation
iii. Should involve incapacitation: to demonstrate ability to take command, use equipment & measure knowledge
iv. Take the roles of pax for crew to experience flow-rate and time: fire, decompress, ditching, evacuate, incapatitation
