The energy currently produced in SA is used primarily in a commercial setting
When is that energy produced and used?
Intermittent
Anytime
We currently use energy any time we want, therefore the intermittent options are difficult to convert to
What is good energy usage?
Renewable
This is mainly given the recent problems found in global warming, and also the fact that we are running out of fossil fuels
Many renewable energy sources are intermittent
We now need to move to more intermittent usage, or focus on effective storage
Minimal wastage
It is difficult to improve this, as this would need a collective understanding and effort
This would mean to utilise the given energy, while storing the excess efficiently, in that the energy is not discharged within the storage
Because we could use energy anytime, we did; and the production was done as we needed it
