Early Life & Education
Born in 1991
Graduated high school in 2009
Earned Associate’s Degree in 2012
Became a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) in 2012
Career Highlights
2012: First job in institutional setting with adults with developmental disabilities
2013: Started school-based OT work (ages 2–22) working with students with complex cognitive and physical disabilities
2022: Earned Master’s in School Counseling
2022–Present: Member of AT PLC for Indian River School District and state representative (Delaware)
2023–Now: Collaborating with local high school students on adaptive/assistive projects focusing on low-cost solutions
Innovation & Impact
2019: Adapted a GoBabyGo
2023–2024: Led first Adaptive Winter Toy Shop bringing caregivers, educators, and community members together to adapt off-the shelf toys
2024: Hosted second annual Toy Shop event; received grant for Adaptive Literacy Project
2025: Started at BGSU Masters certificate program in Assistive Technoloy
