Themes of isolation
character still lives by himself, years after moving away from his small home town
main character would rather not deal with his grievances (fight with parents, their death, having to see the house)
Character feels confined in the unfamiliar house
character feels trapped with his past, even after escaping it he is forced to come back
Main character has been alone for years after a tragic accident or fight he had with his parents. character is isolated and without anyone to talk to

rural setting, small town not many people live in or know about (population ~200)
