The General Assembly
Main objetives: discuss general principles on international peace and security and could make recommendations to promotes international cooperation and promoted health and education and the realization of human rights and freedoms for all
Voting system: Each member state had one vote and decisions could only be passed if there was a two-thirds majority supporting it
Number of members:193 (all members of the UN)

The Security Council
Veto power: the permanent members each had the power of veto
Important facts: It had the power to impose partial or full economic sanctions, cut off means of comunication and diplomatic realtions with a country and used armed force in case it's necesary

The Economic and Social Council
Number of members: 27
Main objective: Promote standards of living, full employment, conditions for economic and social progress, universal respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all people, and cultural and educational cooperation. Find solutions for international economic, social and health problems.
Voting system: Each member had one vote
The International Court of Justice
Number of members: 15
Main objective: Ruled and the other countries agreed with its desicion.
The Trusteeship Council
Important facts: The territories it looked after were called Trust Territories, and these are territories whose people had not yet attained self-government and was to look after the interests of the inhabitants
Main objetives: It aimed to promote the political, economic, social and educational advancement of the inhabitants of the Trust Territories and develop the territories towards self-government or independence
The Secretariat
Main objective: Run the organization
Important facts: It was chaired by the Secretariat-General (chief administrative officer for the UN)
