Problem: Bread needs to be made faster in the bakeries using a new tools and machinery.
Classroom activity: mini bakery conveyor system. learners are challenged to build a model that moves dough (cotton balls or paper) using recyclable materials. they are allowed to take it home

Class activity: bread in my culture. learners will be given a word search, and they will have to find 13 traditional breads and they can read different facts on the breads.
Sub-topic two: Process: wheat farming and bread production: learners can explore the route of wheat grown in Free State and Western Cape, tracing its journey from the farm to the mill to the bakery to the shop. learners will do this using a mocked map to "track-the-truck"
