NATURAL SCIENCE
MATTER AND MATERIALS

https://www.pw.live/
There are two types of materials:
natural materials - wood, coal, rocks, wool, sand, soil.
man-made materials - cement, glass, plastic, paper.
ENERGY AND CHANGE
SOURCES OF ENERGY: discuss renewable and non-renewable energy sources.
renewable energy sources: "A source of energy is considered renewable if it comes from natural sources or processes that are constantly replenished, examples are solar (from the sun), wind, water, geothermal (from the earth) and biomass (from organic materials). " "Non- renewable energy sources don't replenish. They were formed when prehistoric plants and animals died and were gradually buried by layers of soil rock. Types of non-renewable energy are natural gas, coal and oil. "

TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY
INTRODUCING DIFFERENT TOOLS AND HOW IT IS USED IN PRODUCTION PROCESS.
discuss a simple process of making something for example, baking cookies. ask learners what they will need to bake the cookies (ingredients, mixing bowl, mixer, oven).
SOCIAL SCIENCE
LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND PRODUCTION
UNDERSTANDING OWN COMMUNITY: discuss what learners know about their community, encourage them to investigate.
learners research their own communities including resources, people, businesses and services. learners create a simple map drawing of their community that showcase key landmarks, businesses and other places of interest.
