people prefered to have male children over female

How can you solve the issuses created by the one child policy?
China is relaxing the regulations
2 children are now allowed
Encouraging people to now have larger familles
Many people are hesitant as it is now a cultural norm to have 1 child only

Overall policy did do what it was intended to do
Unexpected consequences showed up
The policy overall, good idea to decrease population. Policy violated human rights
Specifically women's rights were violated :
Probably better ways to have decreased the population without such drastic measures
Grants for people who have smaller families
Free contraception
Gave people who didnt have the knowlage at the time the education of family planning
