Clay to bricks
What are bricks?
A brick is a man-made building material used to make walls and make places to walk. It is a single unit of a kneaded clay-bearing soil, sand and lime, or concrete material, fire-hardened or air-dried, used in masonry construction. (Kiddle, 2025)
Class activity: Problem- We don't know how many bricks it will take to make a small wall for our theme table house.
Learners will be given clay to mould their own bricks and we will build the wall together.
