Nuclear reaction could affect the wider area that they are in
Renewable
Disadvantages
Not able to meet the demand of the world
Wind turbines are visually polluting and very noisey
Tidal barrages affect wildlife
Hydroelectric schemes require large reservoirs of water
Cells cover large areas and are not available all the time
Advantages
They will never run out
No greenhouse gasses
No radioactive waste products
Can be used for road signs and they can be connected uneconomically to the grid
