My origami stars fall under art because they are a creative way to express my thoughts, emotions, and values. Art is not just about drawing or painting—it’s also about using shapes, colors, and materials to tell a story or share a message. I used origami, which is the art of paper folding, to make 3D forms that represent feelings like empathy, hope, and respect. I chose specific colors on purpose, and I arranged the stars in a way that makes people stop and think. This artwork shows that art can come in many different forms, and it can be used to express who I am and what I believe in. Just like painting or sculpture, my piece uses the elements and principles of art to create meaning, which is what makes it a true piece of art.
