        These subdivided flats can house up to 20 people, sharing one or two bathrooms and a single kitchen, leading to severe overcrowding, signifigantly reducing their safety and comfort
        
        Many of these living spaces do not meet safety regulations and lack proper maintenance, contributing to poor living conditions that pose health issues on the residents

        The lack of affordable housing options forces many low-income individuals to work multiple jobs just to make ends meet, exacerbating their living conditions

    - - In Hong Kong, a small proportion of people are holding a huge percentage of wealth. This inequality limits economic opportunities for lower-income individuals and families, pushing them into the abyss of poverty.
  - - - Community support groups and non-profit organisations also played a pivotal role in providing resources and guidance to those affected, offering job placement services and career counseling. However, the government did not provide enough support to them, making their potential in backing those communities unfulfilled.
      - Due to the lack of aid in this community from the the HK goverment, the problem is currently going serious ,
  - - - No job for the citizens or the society that people can take in. The amount of knowledge required for the people are too much for them that they are incapable in taking over the work.
      - It will make a poverty cycle. Poor people can't give enough quality education to their children so their children can't apply for a good job or they can only find a way to get money which brings another group of poor people.
      - Hunger
        
        Hunger causes another poverty cycle. Poverty causes Hunger but at the sam time hunger causes poverty. People doesn't have enough nutrition to go to work and not having a healthy lifestyle.
        
        Not having a healthy lifestyle brings health illnesses. Then people will have to spend money and time into curing these illness and diseases which brings back to poverty.
        
        "To lasting effects of childhood poverty, adults living in poverty are at a higher risk of adverse health effects from obesity, smoking, substance use, and chronic stress.12 Finally, older adults with lower incomes experience higher rates of disability and mortality.6"
      - Discrimination and racism
        
        The educational racism had contributed to the unemployment rate. Racism is a significant issue in certain countries, but it's less prevalent in Hong Kong. Some company organisers or so-called CEOs deem that uneducated or low-educated people are unwelcome in their companies or among the industry.
        
        Residents of impoverished communities has a lack of resource which leads to the lack of qualified education and health care in the society
        
        "The government set the poverty line at 50 per cent of the median household income by household size in 2013, so in 2020 the household poverty lines for one-person and two-person households are HK$4,400 and HK$9,500 respectively. The official poverty line should be able to help measure poverty, however, because it does not take into account households’ basic living expenses, it is not a very helpful indicator."
  - - - Thus, they can only go in for the jobs with low wages. Since Hong Kong is a high-consumption city, thir low wage makes them hard to survive in this city, leading to their current deprived circumstances.
