        Control policies allowing administrators to manage traffic without concern for the physical switch connections.
        
        Encapsulation of protocols like IPsec and CAPWAP.

      - Policy: Automates network management, reducing costs and risks.
      - Design: Models networks, sites, and devices, both physical and virtual.
      - Platform: Integrates IT systems via APIs for comprehensive solutions.

        Partner APIs are shared with trusted business partners and require permission to use.
        
        14.3.5 Types of Web Service APIs:
        A web service is a service available over the internet.
        There are four main types of web service APIs: SOAP, REST, XML-RPC, and JSON-RPC. SOAP is XML-based and complex, while REST is simpler, uses HTTP, and is the most popular today. RPC APIs (XML-RPC and JSON-RPC) allow systems to request code execution remotely, with JSON-RPC being simpler and more modern.
