80% of people are only 1-2 paychecks away from homlessness
Zoe, was 16, when she was forced out of her home with nowhere else to go. Zoe had been molested and abused by her stepdad. Zoe spent months moving between homeless shelters and hostels, or sleeping rough in parks, squats and abandoned buildings. Cut off from her family and friends, she had no money for food and no one to turn to for help.
There are 122,000 Australians that are homeless and have nowhere safe to sleep.

Brendan: Collect and share real stories from individuals experiencing homelessness in Brisbane.
Brendan: Create Instagram or TikTok reels sharing myths and facts about homelessness.
Ashvin: Maybe we should turn this into a 2 mintue video?

At Musgrave Park, you are legally allowed to camp because of a legal agreement where the Aboriginals were given the land but gave it to the community as an option for homeless to sleep in.
