MINERALS/ROCKS🪨
SEDIMENTARY!
Formed from compaction and cementation of sediments
This means that it has been smooshed for a very long time, which in a result to it holding most of our fossils
EXAMPLES
METAMORPHIC!
Rocks are changed as a result of exposure to intense heat and/or pressure
These rocks are just current rocks that we have that has been change through heat
Example:
IGNEOUS!
Formed from the cooling and solidification of magma(underground) or lava(Above)
Intrusive-This means that it has been form inside the earth from magma. The magma that cools slowly is a result to Intrusive Igneous rocks. Usually has large crystals because of how it forms so slowly.
Extrusive-These rocks form right after lava has burst. Unlike Intrusive rocks, they cool quickly so these rocks are more likely to have super small or no crystals, but some times it has air bubbles if it cools super fast.
