Agrarian reforms
Law of Municipal Boundaries: 28 April 1931
prohibited employers from bringing in workers from outside a given region until everyone within the locality had jobs.
Law of Obligatory cultivation: 7 May 1931
forcing landlords to farm their lands to employ more workers
extension of arbitration system to countryside
Agrarian Reform Law: 9 September 1932
aimed at dismantling latifundia estates through the redistribution of land. Landlord land was seized if it had over 300 hectares of arable land or who's yield amounted to 10 000 pesetas

Separatists reforms
Catalan Statute: September 9 1932
gave limited autonomy to Catalonia
Established Catalan Parliament
gave legislative power over agriculture, transport, public health and poor relief in Catalonia
1/3 of Catalan taxation was under Catalan parliament
