WALES
1) Wales celebrates its patron saint, Saint David, on first March.
2) David was a Celtic monk who lived in the sixth century and spread Christianity in Wales.
3) The national emblems are the daffodil and the leek and people wear them to celebrate Saint David.
4) Some children wear old clothes for the day, A tall black hat and a long dress.
