More non-jatav, non-yadav vote, and Kurmi votes yet BJP had a huge chunk.
SP-CONG vote share exceeded BJP's only for non-Jatav
Why did non-jatavs vote for SP, instead of BSP (core voter) and BJP?
BJP had won these votes since 1991, and Chandra 2004 p 272 points at BJP's organisation structure in being able to incorporate OBC elites
Why did BJP lose Jat votes (NOT RELEVANT, TOO SMALL, WHERE ARE JATS DOMINANT IN UP)
Margin of victory had reduced in almost all seats
The new alliance
consolidated Muslim vote at 92%
. In 2019, it was split between congress and the SP-BSP (MGB) alliance. INDIA (SP-CONG) alliance consolidated the vote.

. Yadav-Dalit conflict or SP-BSP conflict drew away some of their core voters.
It lost many voters
It lost 10% rural voters, 6% urban voters and 7% youth
It lost voters, and votes in almost all constituencies, where it won or lost in comparison to 2019, apart from Ghaziabad and Kaushambi (only new win)
BJP lost voters across all education levels, and all economic levels (other than middle class). The voters it lost the most - poorest.
Infighting amingst RSS (weakness in organisation strength)
Low turnout of voters (Which is why election campainging went polarised)
