Spring-seeds germinate, buds open into leaves & flowers
In summer, plants & fruits grow
Autumn-trees drop fruits & nuts, leaves change colour & fall to the ground. Vegetables are ready to harvest
Winter-growth of trees & plants may slow or even stop
How seasons affect animals
Spring- many animals reproduce, some animals migrate or move from 1 place to another to find food or reproduce
Summer-young animals grow & become stronger. Some young animals leave their parents
Winter-to survive some animals hibernate. Move little and use little energy as they live off stored body fat
Autumn-Some gather & store food, their fur gets thicker & changes colour
