- - - - "Eiffel Tower" painted in 1889
      - This is "Eiffel Tower" painted by Georges Seurat. The artist use dots to paint the painting, so we can say it's a Pointillism painting certainlly. Seurat put the main thing Eiffel Tower in the top center of the painting, and he drew a bridge on the bottom of the painting, and they form a balance scene. He also used geometric shape triangle to describe the Eiffel Tower. Last but not the least, Seurat used complementary color: blue and orange, to make the painting more clear.
- - - - This painting is called “Père Tanguy”. It's a portrait of Mr.Tanguy. From the composition of the painting, we can see that van-Gogh put the main character in the center of the painting. Then he put many Japenese element surrounding the center character, such as the Mt.Fuji, the cherry blossoms, and the Ukiyoe. These are the symbols of the popularity of Japenese culture in Europe. So we can see that this is a Japonisme painting. And van-Gogh used complementary color, such as blue and orange, to make the painting clear. The artist also used vibrant color, and this also showed that Post-Impressionism also focused on color.

      - Except from the people in the painting, the emphasis of the painting is the natural landscape. This shows that Primitivism artists were focusing on natural things. The natural landscape symboled the distance between the painting and the European art. And the artist used one-point perspective in the painting to draw the landscape.

      - Paul Gauguin used color red with high saturation, this means the color will be more vivid and intension. And there is no perspective or shadow in the painting. Gauguin also used complementary color green and red to make the painting more vibrant and bright. He put the main fighting on the right top, and he put some people who are watching the fighting at the left bottom, so the painting is balance. The painting gives people a strong and heroic feeling.
