Construction of the great pyramid - Coggle Diagram
Construction of the great pyramid
Background
Egypt's pharaohs expected to become gods in the afterlife. To prepare for the next world they erected temples to the gods and massive pyramid tombs for themselves—filled with all the things each ruler would need to guide and sustain himself in the next world.
Pharaoh Khufu was the first Egyptian king to build a pyramid in Giza, a project he began in circa 2550 B.C.
Pyramids did not stand alone but were part of a group of buildings which included temples, chapels, other tombs, and massive walls.
On the walls of Fifth and Sixth Dynasty pyramids are inscriptions known as the Pyramid Texts, an important source of information about Egyptian religion.
Even though the pyramids were not built by slaves but rather by paid workers living in a temporary settlement for the workers. It took about 100,000 people to create the pyramid, with the estimate population at the time being 1.5 million. This project would've caused quite a lot of economic problems for the kingdom

The king announces to the Egyptian Kingdom the project of creating a big pyramid to assist him when he does and ascends to godhood.
Most of the people agree with the idea but there are some others from the population that are skeptical about the idea since they realize the amount of materials, manpower and resources it would need to create such a project.
They request an audience with the king, trying to debate about the project and why it should be made either smaller or canceled entirely. In which the king tries to explain and argue in return with his subjects.
The people argue that if all the resources and manpower is used for one project just to achieve godhood. This might cause the kingdom to collapse and there won't be any worshippers at all, even if the king achieved godhood.
The king was enraged by this and ordered the execution of them because of going against the pharaohs plan
The others were looking in horror as they saw the execution and none of them triesd to interfere with the kings plan
