        Good: In the summer a wet cotton t shirt can help to cool you off
        
        Bad: When you wear cotton in the cold environment and sweat, the cotton holds the moisture in and cools you off through evaporative cooling. If you have wickng materials, it will pull the moisture away and into the air not holding it to the skin.
