Effective national strategies are needed to ensure that tropical rainforests are used sustainably. One example of national management is ecotourism. For example, in Malaysia, ecotourists travel to the rain forest in small groups, support local communities and stay with local guides. The money generated is invested into local conservation projects that benefit the tropical rain forest. A result, tourists learn the importance of the rain forest in terms of valuable good and services, and how to protect it for future generations. As a result, tourists gain a deeper understanding of the rainforest's valuable goods and services and learn ways to protect it for future generations. therefore, this show that national management is sustainable exploitation of the tropical rainforest.
