Main Objectives
To give knowledge and the confidence of the CIIT students staff and instructor to do basic first-aid (such as CPR) to their classmates or co-workers in CIIT.
We believe that equipping students with fundamental first aid and workplace safety knowledge will help them remain calm and respond effectively during emergency situations.
To make CIIT be more aligned with the DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) since CIIT doesn't frequently give first-aid lessons to the instructors, staff and students.
There is first-aid lessons for the students but it's exclusive only for NSTP CIIT Students.
Instructors and staff don't get to participate.
Expected Outcomes
Increase CIIT students, instructors and staff confidence in doing CPR, and respond to emergency situations calmly.
Make CIIT students, instructors, and staff more knowledgeable about CPR.

Despite CIIT already prepared for the most part, majority of the respondents believe that it's important in know basic first aid drills.

The 29 people responded they have low confidence in performing basic first-aid.

The event is scheduled on March 1, 2025
We plan to do it one day before Sports Week which will give us a chance for students to join the event since there will be less Homeworks / academics.
Doing it one day before the big Sports Fest event gives us a chance to showcase the event's training before the sports fest event will happen.
