MATHS
PYTHAGORAS
Basic equation for Pythagoras is: A2 + B2 = C2
If you are finding a shorter side you minus the other short side squared from the hypotenuse squared and then square root it to find the answer, be careful with the sides and RTQ a couple of times before completing the question
The longest side is called a hypotenuse
ANGLE RULES ON PARALLEL LINES
STANDARD FORM
Basic equation for standard for is: A x 10b
The A is a small number between 1 and ten no greater or lower
Standard form is a way of writing very big or small numbers (simplifying)
The b is an indices. It tells us how many times to times it by ten until it reaches its full value
SOLVING LINEAR EQUATIONS
vertically opposite angles are equal
pink = pink
blue = blue
Correspondong angles are equal
pink = pink
blue = blue
alternate angles are equal
Co-interior angles add up to 180 (angles are not equal)
