After listening to his father, Terry knew he would never understand what his father felt, yet he would try to understand and it is enough. He wouldnt be embarrassed when his fathers eyes went away. He wouldnt be embarrassed about anything his father does anymore.
When his mother has gone shopping and it was just him and his father on the kitchen table, he built up the courage to ask about Vietnam. Although it was so hard for his father to talk about, after some tries, his father was able to explain how traumatizing it is to be the only survivor and watching his friends die.
In a shopping mall, something really embarrassing for Terry happened. Terry and his father split up to find what they want and some time later Terry found his father in the middle of a crowd squirming while crying. Terry then called his mother to pick them up. Terry realized he have to do something. He had to understand whats wrong with his father.
When terry asked his mother about it, she did not share any information to Terry which made him even more curious. Terry knew nothing about the war, he tried to find out about it, he went to the schools library and asked for anything about the war. But he didnt get what he wanted. Terry stayed after class to talk to his history teacher, Mr. Carlson. Mr. Carlson suggested some books for him and it turned out pretty good.
Terry was bothered by his fathers situation since he didn't understand anything about it. His father would stop halfway when doing an activity then his eyes will go away for several minutes.

One day a old man found a wood that looks unused. He was a woodmaker where he would make stuff out of wood. He has a pet fox and the fox didn't liked any of the puppets that the old man makes.
Rising action
One day, he took the wood and brought it to his house. He thought nothing of it and decided to sell the wood. No one seemed interested until the next day there was another old man that is lonely and also a woodmaker. He bought the wood and started to make a puppet out of it. Out of no where, the wooden puppet started to talk and say that his name is Pinnochio.
Climax
The next day, Pinnochio asked the dad if he could go out and play. The old man decided to give him a chance to see the outer world and thought it would be nothing. The next day, Pinnochio haven't arrived home. It turns out he played outside for to long. When he arrived at the house, he started giving lies to the old man and the old man started to notice that his nose starts to grow. The old man realized that Pinnochio was lying.
Faling action
He admitted all his lies and said that he wanted to not lie again. Then his nose started to grow and grow more. Pinnochio didn't know what to do other than showing the dad that he can do it.
Resolution
Pinnochio started to tell the truth and the nose started to come back to the normal size. Pinnochio realized that telling truth was not bad after all.
