After being transported to 1660s London, the students embark on a chronological journey through key moments in Samuel Pepys's life, guided by a mysterious voice. Their adventure spans five distinct scenes across different seasons and locations in 17th-century London. The journey begins on a freezing January morning in Pepys's bedroom, where they learn about period heating and winter survival. They then experience London's nightlife in February, observing how time was kept before modern clocks. By March, they explore the bustling River Thames and Pepys's naval office, gaining insights into commerce and period eyewear. In June, they witness an intimate moment as Elizabeth Pepys sits for her portrait with Mr. Hales. The adventure culminates in the dramatic events of September 1666, where they experience the Great Fire of London firsthand, even participating in Pepys's famous burial of his Parmesan cheese. At each location, the students must gather scattered diary pages while learning about daily life, technology, and significant events of the period through interactive "information stations."
