Neoplastic cells are quite similar to normal cells.
So the drugs targeted to kill these cells can also kill normal cells.
Most of these drugs acting on rapidly dividing cells that is the normal cells having quick turnover.
So it causes bonemarrow suppression, alopecia and mucositis.
