        Spontaneous
        
        like rapid combustion where large amount of energy is released in short period of time except it is inited due to internal heating, which causes the fuel to reach its ignition temperature
        
        rapid combustion
        
        occurs over short period of times and a large amount of energy is released in the form of heat and light
        
        for example log fire burning
        
        slow comustion
        
        occurs over large periods of time, where energy is released gradually
        
        for ex cellular respiration and rusting and fruit oxidation
      - CONDITIONS
        
        Oxidizing agent causes (sparks) the fuel to react, without it fuel cannot burn, it feeds off of it
        
        Fuel reacts with the oxidizing agent in order to be able to release energy, this is the substance that burns to release energy
        
        Ignition temperature is the third condition that needs to be present for the burning and release of energy to occur as the fuel needs to be at a minimum temperature to begin combustion
    - - two solutions are combines and an insoluble substance is formed (aka the precipitate)
    - - Is a cemical change plus an example of slow combustion where glucose (fuel) reacts with oxygen (oxidizing agent) to produce carbon dioxide, water and ENERGY .
    - - is a chemical change plus quite the opposite of cellular respiration as ENERGY reacts with carbon dioxide and water to release glucose (fuel) and oxygen (oxidizing agent)
    - - release os gas
      - change in temperature
      - emmission of light
      - change in colour
      - formation of a precipitate
