The Silk Road
The silk road was mutiple routes that lead from the medraitian sea to china. those route led to people all around people able to walk the route and trade what they had along the way. you could not walk to whole way as it was 8000 km.
The road was were good for getting exctic goods like spices, silk, glassware and paper. there was so many trades that happend along the silk road some times trader did not know where there item or item orginated.
The Crusades
The Crusaades was mutiple religious wars, when over crusaders had broughten back many goods leading to and exanpsion in trade in the east.
The City-States
The City-States had gotten rid of a very weak government, allowing for an expansion of trade becuase poeple form diffrent citys were moving in and out.
Black Death
trade was happening on ships and rats would go on the ships and they would carry the disease that created the black death.

the printing press spread knowledge by make more copies avablive for people to buy and read. it gave people the opportunity to learn.
180 copies of the Gutenburg Bible were printed. leading to another way was spreading knowledge.

the Printing press was invented by johannes gutenburg in 1440. This invention massively expanded books and being able to read them.

medical knowledge grew significantlly especially in anatomy and surgical procuders. Many doctors with the help of scientists figured out a way to use the scientific method to help understand human anatomy, and how the human body works.
Mathamatics
A thinker like lenoardo da vinci thought that mathematics was the basis for understanding the universe. mathitmatics was a very important part in Europe's changing economy.
People had expanded their reading, and what they read, this led to a new importance of humanism. this created the scientific method, the process of making observations, experimenting, and drawing conclusions.
