Climate Factors
Elevation
Elevation can affect the climate because when you go up in the earth the temperature gets cooler. This is because of the air density because the higher you get in the air the less gravity can hold the air molecules together, and so the air molecules can't trap as much heat from the sun in the sky then in the ground.

Elevation is how high parts of the world are such as mountains have very high elevation but the ocean has very low elevation. The sea level is the main point of elevation, anything higher and anything lower is measured by meters
Relief

Relief can affect the climate because of the difference in precipitation between two areas on two different sides of a mountain. One side of the mountain will have high amounts of rain and have lush forests however the other side of the mountain will be very dry. This happens because the air on the first side of the mountain goes up it cannot hold any more moisture therefore rain, but as it crosses the other side and descends it can now hold more moisture causing a rain shadow
Relief is used to describe the difference in height between the highest point and the lowest point in an area. Mountains are elevated pieces of land that can determine the climate and temperature in the areas to both sides of the mountain. They form when tectonic plates hit each other and force each other up.
Latitude

The places with the latitude closer to 0 or places closer to the equator have more concentrated sunlight which results in warmer climate However places higher up in latitude have less direct sunlight resulting in colder climate
Latitude lines are lines that are horizontal and imaginary, and they never intersect. The 0 degree line is at the equator and it divides the world into North and South Hemispheres. Latitude relates to climate because the closer the area is to the equator the hotter the climate is because the sun shines most on the equator.

Ocean Currents
Ocean currents are massive flows of water in the ocean. 90 percent of the ocean are deep water currents that are cold. Cold currents start at the polar parts of the world and the currents bring the cold water to the equator. The other 10 percent are warmer. The ocean currents help in regulating the temperature in the globe and all of the worlds oceans. they also allow for a balanced ocean ecosystem

The Ocean Currents takes most of the heat in the air and they stabilizes the global temperature in the world. They mix the warm water near the equator and the cold water near Antarctica and they redistribute it across the globe cooling/warming the planet and all the ocean to just within 1 degree.
Bodies of Water
The large bodies of water change in temperature much slower and much less. This can cause cooler summers and warmer winters. This happens because during the winter the lake releases its heat from the summer and takes in the cool air from the air because winter is cool. Then during the summer, the bodies of water release its cool air then takes in the warm air from the sun redoing the cycle.
Bodies of water are like oceans or lakes, they are all around the world and can affect the climate in many ways such as the humidity and the rain levels, by affecting the land directly around the lake/ocean.
