Someone finds a phone and they go through it and overtime it turns really dark and they get attacked by a monster of sorts.
Similar to the 'personal data' concept I had, where they learn more about themselves and their dark past? They could have memory problems etc.

Someone is on the run, they use someone else's identity to attempt to hide

Someone receives a package and open it, it leads down a rabbit hole of someone trying to uncover classified documents
Could reveal surprising things, maybe they learn things about themselves where it turns into a psychological horror and it scares the main character a lot.
Crime
Murder Mystery?
Might not fit in a short film timespan, unless I put a spin on it
A criminal who has lying superpowers is being interrogated, the police know that he definitely did it but they have no way to prove it so they attempt to get it out of him.
Easy to film, need good actors however.
Someone gets framed for a crime that they didn't do, and they attempt to clear their name before the cops show up to arrest them.
Action
A simple break in, into a building of sorts trying to obtain something valuable that would set them up for life.
