A month after his wife Bronwyn's passing, Reporter Damian reluctantly decides to face his struggle and go report a strange occurrence in his wife's home town. His reason for taking on this case: It was his wife's case, but she never came back. Her body was never found and so, after months of searching they had a funeral. Now, he feels he has to get to the bottom of this.
He hears rumours of weird activity with the cattle and livestock in the local farm. As well as in the fields and woodlands. He meets with the farmer, a reclusive and creepy man. He tells Damien of the myths and folklore surrounding the town. Later during his investigations, he stumbles upon a creature the farmer had mentioned. A Mimic, mimicking his wife and feeding of the livestock.
It is here he unearths the truth about his wife's death, unveiling his trauma in a brutal mental breakdown. He must confront the mimic, and kill it, for his wife...
