Word Styles basics
What is a style?
When you add formatting, you can think of that as adding clothes to naked text.
Normal is also a style, but let's think of it as naked text.
For some occasions, you might dress words in a puffy jacket (bold text), add some shoes (underline) and adjust their posture (centre text on the page).
That's a nice outfit—we might want to use it again. We save it as a Word Style. Now, you can apply this formatting to any text you like with one or two clicks.
