History
Initially in 1968, Adrian Frutiger, a Swiss designer was tasked to create a typeface for the redesign of the Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris. The original typeface designed was called Roissy, it was not until 1976 where the typeface was renamed Frutiger and introduced to the public.
