TYPEFACE
History
- Rockwell Typeface is a serif typeface that was designed in 1935 by American designer Frank Hinman Pierpont for the Monotype Corporation.
- it belongs to the geometric slab serif category and is characterized by a bold, blocky serif and a clean yet modern feel. - Rockwell was inspired by the early work of slab serif fonts such as Clarendon but featured a more uniform stroke thickness, giving it a strong, solid appearance.
- It quickly became popular due to its legibility and strong presence, making it widely used in advertising, signage and display work.
- Rockwell's simple design has maintained a classic appeal, remaining the typeface of choice for a variety of design applications.

GEOMETRIC STRUCTURE
Rockwell has geometric letterforms, with a sense of symmetry and balance. Many of the letters (like "O" and "C") are based on simple geometric shapes like circles and rectangles.
BOLD AND STRONG PRESENCE
Heavy Weight: The typeface is known for its bold weight, which makes it ideal for headlines, signage, and other attention-grabbing uses.
WIDE LETTER SPACING
Rockwell has relatively wide letter spacing, which improves legibility and makes it visually distinct, especially when used at larger sizes.
