How to organize your presentation
Creating a PowerPoint of slide to help organize thoughts
Slide 1: overview/background of topic
Slide 2: Purpose of study
Slide 3: Findings and Data/ Results
Slide 4: Conclusions and Final supporting points
Slide 5: Citations/ References
Know your audience
Certain parts of the presentation can be emphasized. Other parts may not be needed if audience has prior knowledge.
Preparing for talk
using visual aids
memorize opening sentences
prepare notes in large print
practice presentation over and over by going through slides and talking how you would present to others
Designing slides
keep interesting and attractive but simple and not too overwhelming
watching color or text and background, must be able to read slides
font is legible
including key points in slides, not long paragraphs
No cluttering slides with graphs and data tables. But include a title for figure but no caption or legend
How to speak

Watch time limit and don't speak too fast
talk loud enough but don't yell
don't wander off from presentation area
eye contact and gestures
Speaking Remotely
Having proper Zoom etiquette
making sure camera, microphone, and screenshare is working beforehand.
